Introducing myself and saying "Hi". So glad to find this forum and hope to learn and help if I can. I have some skill in woodwork, love my scroll saw and have worked in many mediums in my 53 years.

Today I tried my hand, for the first time with concrete. My daughter and I pour 2 mushrooms by digging out craters and using plastic bottles as stems. The seem to be setting fine. I've been scupting mushrooms on a smaller scale with polymer clay. I make faces on them that are really hilarious and am anxious to see if I can do the same on these. If you have any suggestions, I'd really appreciate it.

Welcome to TGAF. I look forward to seeing pictures of your mushrooms. I have an interest in woodworking too. I've done some wood carving and my husband does puzzles with his scroll saw.

Terri, Welcome to the forum and this diverse group of people. Just drove through NV a few weeks ago down US 50. Pre---ty. If you don't know about me I'm teaching concrete carving workshops this summer and will be teaching one in Salt Lake Aug 20 - 22 at jynja's if you are interested in joining us.

Also, my traveling companion, Carol, is a whiz at polymer clay. I've just been introduced to it and it is realy cool stuff.
